Project consisted of complex seismic reconstruction of existing structure including attached ground-up construction. Project includes seismic retrofit of a multi-story existing structure, AC/DC electronics, moisture barrier protection, 12,000 gallon underground fuel tank for attached emergency back up generator, over 120 caissons poured in place up to 40 and 60 feet in depth for new footings, complex seismic bracing. Due to highly sensitive existing telecommunications electronics, complex HVAC system was maintained during construction, dust control was maintained during construction, and utilities could not be disturbed. Interior includes administrative offices, clean room environment, complex seismic bracing, complex utilities, and disruption phasing. Exterior includes parking, landscape, and street improvements on a one acre lot.
