Perera Construction and Design Incorporated is a Commercial and Institutional General Contractor that is complimented by a series of divisions that perform a full spectrum of construction-related services. 

Perera performs preconstruction, construction management, general contracting, trade work, design/build, design/build/finance as well as consulting services. From the initial stages of project planning and development through the construction phase and project delivery, Perera works in partnership with clients under a variety of contract types and delivery methods, including lump sum, Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and negotiated procurement.

From initial planning through completion, our professional full-time staff works toward a single goal- satisfying our client’s needs.

Management

Henry Perera Jr., as owner of Perera Construction and Design Inc., has created and implemented a unique field management approach that empowers each field manager to act as both project manager and field superintendent. Although many complex jobs require a large staff, occasionally less complex jobs require less staff. This is all accomplished by the field and office project management staff using Expedition for all tracking, RFI logs, communication and change order management. This fully integrated system is used daily to also track all correspondence, meeting notes and Submittals.

Teams at Perera are responsible for managing projects on a one to one basis. Each team typically consists of a specialist in partnering, project manager, superintendent, estimating assistant, project manager assistant, purchasing, and cost engineering. Other staff can be included depending on the complexity and size of the project.

Since our inception, Perera has satisfied clients in California, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Hawaii and Alaska.
